Mozambique Basin 3rd Licensing Round
The National Petroleum Institute launched the Mozambique Third Licensing Round on the 6th December 2007 for a period of 6 months allowing companies time to complete there technical evaluation.
When the Licence Round closed on the 2nd of June 2008, National Petroleum Institute had received license applications from;
1.SASOL Petroleum International, South Africa www.sasol.com – Operator
2.OSHO consortium which would include;
•OPII – Orient Petroleum International Inc.
www.opii.com – Operator
•ETA Star Holdings Ltd.
www.etaascon.com
•OSHO Energia Limitada, Mozambique.
The results of the bid evaluation will be announced middle July 2008.
